Alex was tired. He'd been up most of the night helping to drive the invaders out of the Cirque, and he'd only gotten a few hours of sleep when he'd finally shuffled home. Almost immediately upon waking, he'd learned he'd been assigned to helping to repair the talismans on the perimeter, which was going to take a bit, since he had to travel into Rome first.
Or he would have, if Cat hadn't told him about her vision. For Issac to go missing and not be found...that was strange. He could usually talk to them anywhere, so for him not to give any more information...something must be wrong. So he'd hurriedly dressed, shoved his cards into a pocket (because it was habit by now), and made his way to Cat's tent.
He found her bent over a stone, and slipped inside and took a seat. "So what am I doing?" he asked.
