Lucia and Maddy and OPEN- the Midway
The shrill sound broke through the commotion around her, startling enough to give her pause. She slowed her gallop to a stall and turned her head toward the source of the sound, gleaming eyes now fixated on the red-headed man with its hands extended to her. Her head ducked low. This man was not familiar either. Her mouth curled back so that her teeth were bared in warning Her eyes showed no signs of recognition, though something, something rang familiar about the face on the creature standing opposite her.
Her attention was quickly drawn to the second two-legged man that was approaching behind the red-headed female. She could smell murder and violence on him. She went very still, and very quiet. When she moved again, it was with slow, menacing steps toward Maddy, a low growl building in her throat as her advance gained speed. When she launched herself, it was not at but past her, a savage snarl cracking into the air as she latched her claws into the would-be attacker and brought him down with ease, her teeth finding his jaw with a satisfying crunch.
