Kennedy & Elia & Alex & OPEN
All Kennedy got for her trouble was a low growl from the lion and another nudge. Elia was clearly giving her shadow-minions a lot of free rein, which was probably a bad thing for their intruders.
The witch herself was nodding in response to Kennedy's pointing. "No sign yet," she offered to Alex, her tone distracted. Where was Issac? And Marcus, for that matter? She would have felt better with his literal firepower at her back. "We'll find them just as soon as we get this contained. Come on," she urged, choosing a direction at last, her lions prowling a few steps ahead of her brisk walk. Toward Virtue and Vice, back where she'd come from, the long way around.
It didn't take long to run into a trio of intruders, two wielding weapons, the other cupping a glowing orb in his (his?) hands. While the guns posed an immediate threat, it was the orb that Elia focused on – that was spellwork she recognized. One of her lions lunged forward, snarling as it lashed out with claws, only to be caught in the containment field that the orb projected. Another snarl, a flicker of her power, and the shadow-construct disappeared from the spherical field, only to reform behind the orb-holder a moment later.
His screams made the witch's lips twitch with a cold sort of smile.
