"We're not moving him," Rose said. He was healed, at least as well as she could. He might ache a little still, might be tired, but he'd manage. She pulled the IV from his arm, holding gauze against the hole and putting a bandaid on to hold it in place, then capped the needle and shoved it all into a red biohazard bag, along with the gauze she'd used initially. The bullet fragments went into two separate baggies. She shoved one in her back pocket and gave Marco the other, in case they needed to show anyone else the bullet fragments. "He's moving himself." Another reach into her bag to pull out an ammonia inhalant; she cracked the top and wafted it gently under Callum's nose.
"Wake up, Callum," she said as she waved the smelling salts to and fro. "I need you on your feet." She let Marco get into position to help Callum up, keeping the smelling salts in position until he was alert again.
