"So sue me, I fall back on comfort food," she answered, finally smiling up at him. "Don't worry about the olives, I never liked them. On a different day I'll come into town and eat my weight in pasta, but not right now."
The walk into Rome had relaxed her a bit, taken some of the tension from her neck and the slump from her shoulders. She was a long way from her usual self, though, but this was a good start. And she needed to get this off her chest before it started to crush her.
