"No, it's fine. Baba Violetta might stay away from you though, walking spirits are never good omens back home." Orion could take a clue. He would not have imagined a spirit would be so solid and found of fire. Many of the spirits back home were said to disappear with daylight back to their graves or hide away light in general.
"I'll eventually rise from the dead, myself. In a way."
At that comment a little six-year-old girl came running up to the fire, jumping into midair and pushing Orion half into the fire with a hug. Her brown hair hung down to her lower back in waves and her large green eyes shone with delight. "Ri! Baba would like to know if you will walk me around to see the circus."
"Shit, Bitsy, you're going to set yourself on fire." He said, rolling her off of him and away from the fire that had started to burn his pants. Orion patted it out, removing his leg from the flames and shot Ghede an apologetic look. "Sorry, I can get you more wood if I destroyed your work."
Bitsy hung her arms around Orion's shoulders, resting her head on one side to peek at Ghede. "He's a good spirit," she whispered in Orion's ear. Bitsy was a gifted child, who saw auras.
