Maddy looked up and waved in the direction of the window. "Well that's some people's thing, I suppose," she laughed, getting her feet back under her.
"Oi, at least wait til my afterglow wears off to start volunteering me for things," she told him, gently smacking his shoulder. She heard the window slam and snorted. "Guess they're not interested."
"I could, yeah," she answered, retracing her steps to find her bag. She knew there was an elastic in there, and she pulled her hair up into a messy bun. "Are we making our escape, or just messing with his head?"
