sorry for the wait! Flu took me out for a few days there
Esme already knew about the baby, Lucy had let it slip one night when she was freaking out. Well, she'd said there was a possibility. But Esme was pretty sure she was the only one who was really happy about the news. They hadn't planned a child, but Esme thought they were a cute couple (even if they both denied it) and she knew Tyson was going to make a good father. He was a little rough around the edges, but he'd always been kind and loving towards her. She imagined he'd be just as wonderful with his own child.
By the time Tyler arrived at Esme's nature filled wagon the younger sibling had passed out. Laying on her side on her couch, her kitten protectively standing guard on the arm of the sofa. He had the good sense not to attack Tyson when he touched the shoulder of his mistress. Esme however didn't get the memo.
She was pulled out of her usual nightmare by the man's hand. Her eyes shooting open, the golden eyes of her wolf form not her usual silver-blue. A growl ripped itself from her chest, predatory and dangerous, and she lunged at the thing she thought was attacking her. The sheer force behind her fight or flight instincts enough to push Tyson back enough for her brain to catch up. Suddenly her eyes were blue again, softer, albeit a little scared. "Shit, Ty..I'm sorry!" She practically squeaked out. More worried that she hadn't heard him come in than she was about him being mad at her for pushing him.
"It-It's been a really stressful day.." The young woman admitted, sitting up a little so she could wrap her arms around her brother instead of attacking him. "I hope you brought ice cream..Ice cream's good." She nodded as if clearing something from her mind. She wanted to concentrate on the present. A present where she wasn't being attacked and could just spend quality time with her big brother like a normal person. Why was she never a normal person? "I do have alcohol...Will alcohol make it up to you?"
