His eyebrows inched higher as her list grew longer. "I think you're doing OK without," he chuckled. "I picked up French and German over the years, but I think Persian's a bit beyond my grasp. Still, who knows? Maybe I'll get bored in the next couple decades and learn another language."
"Used to be those were the only places I could visit," he replied. "If I get too hot, bad things tend to happen. The north of England looks beautiful in winter, and for all Russia's faults, there are some stunning landscapes tucked away. Our last stop was a nice change of pace, being able to go outside without feeling sick."
