She couldn't help but beam at Oded's reply. Seemingly all worries about this new place being creepy gone from her head now that she was there with him. For some reason Oded always made her feel safe. He could fight off pretty much anything after all.. and it was hard to concentrate on ghosts and ghouls when she was confronted by Mr. Dimples and his stupidly handsome face. "I kinda like it..And you can still call me Red, because it's not like my wolf's had a change of coat.." She giggled softly. She wasn't looking for complements about her appearance, but if she was honest she was a little worried that Oded wouldn't be fond of the new look. He was right of course, Lily had been a influence. Not with her hair color, but the older woman had made it clear that Esme had a figure to die for. And while Esme wasn't sure about that, she did remember the way the man looked at her when she walked out of those curtains. That would always be a thrilling moment to her. But then, she did always wear her emotions on her sleeve.
When she handed the box to Oded, her main emotion was nervousness. She was aware she was sentimental and because of that it was clear that some thought had gone into the gifts. And she wasn't sure where the line was between friendly and overly affectionate. Especially not when it came to someone she adored, like Oded. But her slight anticipation faded away when Oded looked at the gifts and seemed to like them. A blinding smile forming on her petal pink lips as he inspected the ring. "I thought it looked like where we went sledding.." She explained as a rosey color blossomed on her pale cheeks. Giggling slightly at the mention of a ward to imbue it with. "I hope there isn't a 'Stop Esme from being silly' ward," she joked.
The heat in her cheeks only amplifying when the man gently brushed her hair back. Those silvery-blue orbs of hers looking up at him timidly. It was clear the young woman was very attached to Oded at this point. She'd spent a great deal of time with him and at every meeting the feelings Esme was developing for him seemed to grow exponentially. Biting her lower lip, her new found courage seemed to return to her. "Technically there's three gifts," the bottle, the glasses and the ring. "So you have three kisses, don't use them all at once." Her words were playful, if a little uncertain, as her dainty fingers gently pressed against the man's chest, shifting closer to him.
