Early afternoon, May 21st Who: Thorsten & Syssi When: Early afternoon, May 21st (when Syssi's awake again) Where: Syssi's wagon What: Worried father and injured daughter Rating: TBD
The night before had been stormy. The main downside to having a Vanir in the ranks, whenever he was worried or in a bad mood weather patterns suddenly altered unless he purposefully stopped himself. And when he found out about Syssi taking the fall, his thoughts had been on nothing but the young woman. Needing to know she was safe and well again. He wasn't worried about what people would make of the weather change.
He was aware he was being slightly out of sorts. He didn't even know if this girl he'd met just days before was actually his daughter, but he couldn't help but feel protective over her. Even if she wasn't his, she was Kelsia's, that alone was enough to make him care for her. He owed it to her mother. If he couldn't save her, he'd certainly protect Syssi. It was inbuilt in his moral code and that was something he'd never break, no matter how many years passed. His being may have been twisted by the viking's who'd worshiped him as a god, but his need to be honorable was still intact.
The man had let her know he was coming and had quickly mixed up a tea to soothe her spinning head, an old remedy from his time. It probably tasted awful, but all medicine that worked did. He poured the hot liquid into a cup and for a moment considered putting on a jacket over his soft sweater. It would be entirely for show, as he didn't really feel the cold, so he decided against it as it was just a short journey between wagons and most of the employees knew he wasn't human. With that, he left his wagon with the cup in hand. Covering the short distance easily with his long legs and knocking with purpose on her front door, a soft comforting smile settling on his lips as he awaited her answer.
