Haydn nodded, though he wished all it took was the decision. None of this had ever been a problem with Kelsia. He couldn't remember a time where they were at odds with one another. Of course they had never been forced to spend thirty years with no one else for company. He understood that Syssi wanted to get to know other people now that they were finally a little more settled and a little less on the run. If he was honest he wouldn't mind making friends again. Maybe if he did, he and Syssi would stop being so at odds. Of course that was easier said than done. Keeping people out would be a hard habit to break after thirty years.
He looked into the intense ghostly eyes of the warlock across from him for a moment before he felt a burst of electric energy flow through him. Though he didn't have any time to wonder about that because almost immediately after, as though the two were connected, his scar began to burn, sending shocks of pain through his hip and up into his chest. He pulled his hand back and moved it to his scar. He could feel it pulsing under his palm as he struggled to catch his breath. "What..is going..on?" he asked in a groan, struggling to focus on anything but the pain he was experiencing.
