Lila nodded, a sense of relief washing over her then, reality settling in through the nice little bubble they'd found themselves in together during their brief flirtation.
Heartbreak was so cliche. It didn't suit her, in it's banality. And Lila tested that he had made her feel things she'd never thought she would, things she always thought were for the weak. It made her feel grateful to Alex, not least of all because he didn't ask for details or treat her with kid gloves about it.
