He smiled softly and glanced back down, thinking quietly a moment as Maddy continued. "Did you not have a TV when you joined up?" He snorted, "Tom Waits? Really?" He chuckled. "Are you always changing your hair up, then? I guess I don't get to see you often enough." He looked back up at her.
"Yeah? I've never been. Though I know about Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack and all of that. Always thought it'd be cool to visit." He watched Maddy, "it does matter, yeah? I wanted to be a rock and roll musician. Nothing ever came of that. Something might've, but I fucked it up for myself, I think. So I can't really complain.. it was my own fault." He shrugged. "You work for a circus, now, though? You're kinda a showgirl. Just not a Rockette."
He bit at his lip, "think no matter what I call her, she's still gonna slug me in the arm sometimes." He smiled, shaking his head with amusement. "I can't just let her call me Wolfman, and stuff, and not throw something back. But you're right. Shamrock Shake isn't a good one," he wrinkled his nose.
