Maddy finally spotted him and smiled. "I have finally escaped," she informed him. "Granted, I probably should have changed out of this first, but I couldn't be bothered." She settled herself down next to him, pulling at some of the pins in her hair. "I started drinking because my head was killing me, and I didn't feel like stopping. But I didn't feel like carrying on alone."
She held the mostly full bottle aloft. "Wanna help me get rid of this?" she asked brightly.
