Finnerty's breath caught in her throat. The dark hair in his hands had not been hair at all but her gills that allowed her to breathe underwater, and therefore were far more sensitive than typical humanoid hair. Every brush of a touch through the tendrils or scent in the hair could be felt as the invisible nerves dropped down through the shafts to give the gills life.
Swallowing, she attempted to keep control of her toxins but parts of her skin started to rush through a dizzying display of patterns and colours that matched the wall he had her pinned against.
His large hand wrapped around hers to direct her, his heat was intoxicating. She bit her bottom lip, hazel eyes locked into the Angler's gaze. She continued short breaths, remembering that she needed air. Her fingers brushed over him, feeling him, feeling the strange extra electromagnetic field he seemed to possess.
