Animal was very good at going places he shouldn’t, and climbing was no insane feat for him. Just one boot after the other, hands gripping, metal secure under his touch. Hyenas weren’t exactly acrobats but he wasn’t concerned about the possibility of falling. He’d climbed more precarious.
The sunlight made him wish he’d worn sunglasses though. Even though it was golden and soft, his eyes were sensitive to it. He squinted a little each time he had to look up.
