Eli had been roaming the mountainous region outside of the cirque since they’d arrived, today had been no different. What time he didn’t spend in the clouds, he spent in clearings warming himself in the sun; he felt free for the first time in a long time, and he wasn’t quite ready to give that up just yet. The dragon had been resting, eating his most recent kill lazily when he caught wind of something new. No, someone new. There hadn’t been humans up this way since he’d found the place and the thought of one so close piqued his interest.
The change was easy, scales transformed into skin and he stretched with a groan when he was finally back on two legs instead of four. He cut through the trees, steps sure as he followed the unfamiliar scent that shouldn’t be there. When he was just inside the tree line he saw her, small and pretty. It made him curious as to what had brought her this far up and away from other humans, especially dressed as she was.
When she began to disrobe he averted his eyes though he was as naked as the day he was born himself. Covering himself, he stepped into view and approached cautiously. Not from behind no, but from the front.
“You’re gonna freeze up here without the right clothes.”
