Christian | Issac | Elia
Issac pouted, their telepathic link picking up with his appreciation of watching the other demon walk ahead of them. Demon form, human form, Issac really would not mind having a taste of either.
In the back end of the wave of energy, Issac had stopped to pick up one of the darklings. He loved the creatures more than life itself. The cool shadows had an almost slimy feel when cuddled close to the chest. Absently the Mind Magician allowed the creature to nimble on his fingers while they spoke. "The war end does not stop their wailing... even during the day..." He said catching up.
The struggle with his telepathy and the pain it was causing did not stop him from hearing them. It made the spirits even more apparent instead of the white noise background they usually consisted of while he was not focusing on them. Issac's body wobbled, his eyes closing for a moment. A strange voice whispered in his ear as if it knew it could, remembered them but had not yet been there before. His mental communication with Elia dropped with a slice at her mind.
Issac choked on a breath. It was gone as quickly as it had arrived. "That was not nice!" Even the darkling in his arms seemed on alert more than the others that followed them.
