Cassander only shrugged, smiling sadly. At least she didn't ask him what he did for them. He had never been a killer, never been cruel... Not before then. But now he had that dark kernel inside of him that told him he was, in fact, capable of cruelties that the dark courts would have prized.
He stood again when she finished her tea, offering her his hand as a guide, "As am I. Hopefully, we can leave whatever negativity that has invaded the camp behind. Though I expect it won't be relieved until the full moon."
