Gently, he made sure all of her hair was at her back and then pulled the brush from his pocket. He started at the very ends of her hair to work out the tangles without pulling, moving up the strands slowly. He really did know how to brush hair without pain - it was a talent many men didn't acquire though he did have suitably long hair himself. Sort of. It wasn't real hair but vines tangled just as much.
