He laughed. “A Grandpa, huh?” Eden supposed it wasn’t too farfetched, he was quite a bit older than he appeared. Shifters aged differently. That was something he’d struggled with for a while but had learned to give up on fighting. It was out of his control, age was just a number anyway.
Eden did blink when Gabe pulled back. “Well, sort of.. shifter years are different than human years. I mean, I don’t feel old..” he paused and looked down at himself as if to examine what was there. But he pushed any weird feeling by the wayside and picked up dancing again. “Basically our lifespans are calculated sort of like actual animals. You know how they have a human “age” and a dog or a cat age...it’s the same with us in a sense. We tend to have longer lifespans.”
At the comment about seeing Gabe in the morning his smile widened, “If that’s an invitation to see if for myself then I accept.” The idea of taking this man to bed was definitly inticing, and the prospect of waking up next to him was even better. “That face is scary and cute a the same time.”
