Being part of the animal kingdom in more ways than being human granted insight into what things that walked on four legs felt. All he could do was share what he knew and hope that it was received as intended.
“You could say that.” He knew that Gabriel was good, if that was any proof. He couldn’t sense anything misleading about his friend, nothing to indicate danger. And to be honest Eden was the more dangerous out of the pair of them.
Pounce pawed playfully at Gabriel and then Juno, still trying to squeeze his way in for attention. Trying to relieve some of that burden, Eden scooped the cub into his own arms and rubbed his fingers through Pounce’s fur.
“Flowers? I think that’s the first time anyone has ever asked me that question,” he stated, amused. “Flowers are pretty? Some of them stink...why?”
