In truth, Gabe had never been called a natural at anything. The things he was good at were only possible through hard work, perseverance, and a stubbornness that only reared its head when he was determined to prove something. To be called one now, as the lion cubs began to tussle for his attention, was both surprising and endearing. "You think?" he asked, looking from the cubs to Eden and back. "They can probably sense that they could walk all over me and I'd thank them for doing it since they're so cute."
The problem with their current location and the timing in which they were visiting was that there was too much going on for any one person to decide what to do. Gabe had looked into all of the events happening around the city during their stay and had been astounded by just how many there were. It made the choice almost impossible. "What kinda things are you into?" he asked, hoping that the answer would help to narrow the options down. "Super formal? More relaxed? I'll follow your lead."
