Gabe froze as the cub batted at his face, not wanting to make any sudden movements lest he startle it. He was unable to keep the smile from his face, however, listening as Eden introduced them. It was too cute, seeing the other man holding the less exuberant cub in his arms while the other continued to knock the ball back and forth. "How do you know?" he muttered, gaze flickering between Eden and the cub, Juno. "That she likes me, I mean."
Eyes widening as Eden held out the cub, Gabe hesitated before reaching out carefully. "How do you hold a lion cub the right way?" he asked, shifting his weight so that he could cradle the baby lion as he'd seen Eden do. Not wanting to risk dropping her, he lowered himself to the ground so that he was kneeling, his arms loosely holding the cub. "Is this right? I mean, I trust you, but this is insane."
