It had been a while since Gabe had played any kind of sports, though his reflexes were like muscle memory as he momentarily saw a ball flying towards him. He ducked just in time for it to miss his face, a startled breath leaving him as he watched it land. Yet another shock came when he turned back to find a lion cub bounding towards him, Eden in its wake.
Moving over to the ball, Gabriel adjusted it with his foot before kicking it lightly towards the center of the tent as instructed. The cub paused and doubled back on itself as the ball rolled away again, and Gabe looked at Eden with quickly melting surprise as he smiled at the sight of the other man cradling another cub. "Guess you weren't kidding when you said you had your hands full," he said, approaching slowly. He wasn't sure how close he was allowed to be or how dangerous the cubs were.
