Determined as she always was to make an impression, Ilinca had retrieved one of her best dresses from her wardrobe, complete with a complementary cloak. She loved knowing that heads turned when she walked into a room, and tonight was no exception.
She slipped her hand into Oliver's arm at the entrance to the Tunnel, making light conversation as she took in the city lights. It had been a long time since she'd been to Vienna, and she didn't believe she'd ever been there during the holidays. It truly did look magical.
"That's alright," she replied, sipping at her punch. "I do not believe they do either, plopping us down in the middle of the Tower of London also speaks to that. Still. I enjoyed the city, everything seems to glow." She followed him to the waiting limo, gathering up her skirts and slipping inside. Once the door was closed and they were on their way, she slipped off her heels. "I love wearing them, but I feel like the less time they are on tonight, the better," she said, smiling as she stretched out her feet.
