A matching smirk appeared on Ana's face, and she laughed quietly. "Nowhere fun," she told him. "Or at least not in a way that feels any fun." She loosened the straps that bound the swords to her body, and pulled them off over her head. "Be right back."
She went briefly into her little house and laid the swords carefully on her bed. They weren't going anywhere, she could check them over later. She grabbed a spare hair tie and pulled her hair up loosely on top of her head, the humidity had been making it stick to her neck uncomfortably.
Stepping back outside felt like she was plunging into warm water, and she let out a grumpy noise. "Ugh. Fuck this weather, I mean seriously."
