As the least concerned of the party, Kit barely noticed a difference in feeling as Meredith's gift ran through them all. He did notice the charge, however, frown lines appearing between his brows as he turned his attention to the woman who was now curling into his body. He said nothing to her, not wanting to call attention to her in a way that would make her embarrassed, though his hold on her arm tightened a fraction as if to reassure her and keep her grounded. The quick brush to his other arm, this time from Booker, caught his attention and Kit turned to look at the other vampire, his expression melting into one of contentment instead.
With both of his companions enraptured by the floating lanterns, Kit took the opportunity to muse upon the information that Meredith had shared. It was a good practice, to rid oneself of negativity whenever possible, even if it meant sending up lanterns into the sky to free them. There were certainly worse ways to banish bad thoughts. He could appreciate the symbolism, even if he didn't believe that the act of physically letting something float away allowed the emotional or mental aspect to drift off with it.
"I think we all should," Kit said, looking between the people on either side of him. "When in Thailand, do as the Thai people do. I'm sure all of us have something we'd like to see the last of."
