Gabe continued to listen closely, nodding to show Eden that he was paying attention to what was being said to him. Despite many years passing, he knew that, for some people, the pain of losing somebody didn't fade. Eden didn't seem overly upset as he spoke about his brother, though Gabe didn't know for certain on account of them only just meeting, and so he remained silent on the subject. If the other man wanted to talk, about his brother or anything else, then he would do so. He didn't seem the shy type.
Pleased to see Eden smile again, Gabe nodded enthusiastically. "It sounds awesome," he said, a little curios to see pictures but not wanting to ask. They had only just met, after all. Still, it wasn't typical for brand new acquaintances to invite someone to their family home either. Not that Gabe was thinking too hard about current events.
