As the other man tucked into his food, so did Gabriel. While he would have liked to question Eden a bit more, he did have somewhere to be and a short amount of time left before he would have to leave. The silence between them as they ate was of the comfortable sort and Gabe glanced over at Eden several times to ensure that he was doing okay.
Arching an eyebrow at the insinuation behind Eden's words - he hadn't missed that implication - Gabe made a small sound of amusement that sounded only a little awkward. He could already feel the blush from earlier returning, creeping its way up his neck. "Time will tell," he said, flashing a smile across the table that he hoped didn't look too nervous. He simply wasn't used to being flirted with so blatantly, and it seemed to happen a lot at the Cirque.
"I think everything I've seen is amazing," Gabe went on to admit, thinking back on the many things that he had experienced since arriving. It truly was mindblowing. "Up until two weeks ago, I didn't know supernaturals existed. I mean, I wasn't totally surprised because I can talk to ghosts, but I didn't think vampires or shifters or merfolk existed. It's been a lot to accept."
