He consumed the tacos and pushed the rest away, leaving behind a few scraps of tortilla and some weird sauce that he had neglected to try. Meat on its own was flavorful enough and it took away from that natural taste to Doctor it up with strange sauces.
When he was done Eden lifted his head and set his gaze upon Gabriel once more. “I like that this was a first for you. Hopefully we can share a few more first times in the future together.” Gabriel could take that the way he wanted to. It was what it was, this place gave him the opportunity for a fresh start and he was tying to lay solid groundwork.
“I’m sure you’ve seen things here that outweigh what I can do.” There were spectacular things here. “I have heard that we are good at keeping others warm. We run hot, even as humans.”
