Unluckily for Niamh, Kit caught the shift in her expression. Luckily for her, however, he didn't mention it. It was far from the most important thing to focus on, all things considered, and he suspected there was a lot more to the story than he knew. If she wanted to tell him in time, so be it. If not, he'd never push. "I like it," he said, short and to the point, before moving on to the next order of business.
It was a little surprising to Kit that Niamh had been assigned to the tent without a fixed skill under her belt. Perhaps it was the gymnastics element that had led to her placement, as she had said, or maybe it was something else entirely. One could never be sure with the Management. "Can't say it was ever on my list of things to do either," he admitted with a wry smile. "Then again, it's nothing special. I'm just doing the same things I was doing before, though now they let me play with electricity, water, sharp objects, and other things designed to kill me."
After another quick sweep of the tent, Kit returned his attention to Niamh. "Maybe you can talk to Isla about working out a routine?" he suggested, sure that his fellow vampire would be willing to help if asked. "Or maybe Kennedy and Max can teach you some aerial stuff? Guess it depends on what you want to try."
