Syssi should have heard footsteps approaching. The change in the wind, the shift of the air behind her, but she didn't. She was too lost in her own thoughts to really know what was going on around her, which was a problem in itself. Hearing the words so close to her she couldn't help but gasp and whip around. Bright blue eyes grew wide as he came so close as to almost hitting her and she stepped back trying to avoid the collision as well. Her normal graceful self wasn't as such at the moment and she felt herself falling backwards. Her hands reached out to push herself away from the ground but by the time she focused enough, she felt her ass on the ground.
Blinking she looked up at him as his question registered. "I'm okay." She said with a nod, not moving from the ground just yet. "Where were you going in such a hurry?" She couldn't help but ask as she pushed herself up and brushed off the grass from her skirt. That is going to be a fun explaination to Haydn, she thought to herself. She glanced behind him for a moment, No one was chasing him...what had him going that fast? Her eyes met his face again as she realized she wasn't quite sure who he was a small amount of fear creeping up along with Haydn's voice in the back of her mind.
