Ivarr was glad when she discarded her clothes right away after he had said that she could. That was very different human behavior from what he was used to. Most might have slapped him across the face just for pulling on the strap. Winny wasn't so easily offended and he liked that. "Because it smells like the river then. Not like flowery or fruity shampoo that makes the hair all fluffy and not grease. Horses have to have mud groomed off them too. Sometimes shampoo too! Take away their natural smell, they don't like it. Makes predators able to smell them. You know that, probably." He waved a hand dismissively in the air before plopping it back down into the water. "Oh, well. I just take them back here anyway! And me too. I think I always smell like river, being a river spirit. River fae. Horses smell like river, others won't touch. My territory."
He stayed where he was, his back against the river bottom, the only thing above water being his face. "Yes! Of the things that are mine." He certainly couldn't place himself above the cantankerous Ringmaster, but he was the leader of his own certain areas. At least that was how he was naturally inclined to perceive it. "If you steal and don't get caught, they can't get annoyed at you," he pointed out. His words were followed shortly by a huge yawn. Being so big, and also being fae, meant that he didn't get drunk that easily, but he was already tired from being afraid to sleep because of the dolls and the alcohol was only adding to that general sleepiness. "Chocolate bacon can be next thing. Just a suggestion."
