The bruises didn't bother him as much as the nightmares had. In his true form, his hide was torn to shreds in places, bone, muscle, and sinew fully exposed. It was more the fact that he had found the bruises on his body after waking in fear from the dreams that bothered him than the pain from them itself. Sitting in the river eased his muscles as well, and had taken care of a lot of the sticky sweat that had been on his skin in addition to all the mud. "I'm not sure." His expression turned thoughtful for a moment before he shook his head. "No, I don't know. The only thing I heard of is there is a water tank for the merman in his trailer."
Ivarr bumped her shoulder back, then proceeded to rub it up against hers as if he were itching himself, which he more or less was. He was still prone to displaying equine behavior in the human form. "I am your boss!" He shot her a toothy grin, taking the bottle back and downing some more, thoroughly enjoying the taste of home, a liquid that had actually come all the way from Scotland. It tasted like it, it felt like it as it sat in his stomach. He loved it. "I didn't mean to scare you back there if I did. I didn't know you were coming and they're my herd. I'm protective. I didn't know if you were a threat or not." He sighed, lower lip sticking out slightly. "They are my family now." He had been staring at the label on the bottle, but now he shifted his gaze to Winny. "Really, all you have to do is be good to them, and understand that I'm the dominant stallion."
