The cold water was a relief but it couldn't have been for Gabe, so Eric turned to look at the dial, fiddling with it for a moment until it landed in the middle and the water turned lukewarm. "Compromise." He murmured with a smile. Neither of them would be completely comfortable but it was a good middle ground. They were learning, learning how to deal with their differing needs and that was the hallmark, Eric thought, of a working relationship.
He tilted his head back to wet his hair, the strands glowing weakly under the rushing water. Smiling at Gabe's words, he leaned in for a soft kiss. "We can both be beautiful." He told him easily, his hands sliding smoothly down Gabe's back to rest his hands on Gabe's hips. "I am look forward to our swim date." He said, reaching for what a bottle of what he thought was shampoo, sniffing at it lightly, able to smell the chemicals underneath the scent. "I will find you the best rocks."
