Eric collapsed down into Gabe's soft mattress, letting the tension of the past few days bleed from him. It had been difficult. The very air had revolted around him, burned by the being who apparently controlled all their fates. He had been tormented by dreams of his children dying horrible deaths, the mournful screams of their mothers following him even now. But Gabe was a bright, easy, comforting spot in the midst of all the doom and gloom. Though, even after his easy, slick climax, the anxiety remained.
"A shower sounds good." He said softly, stretching out against Gabe and then heaving himself up, reaching out a hand for Gabe. "There is one in my trailer, but I do not use it. I am in the lagoon every day, in my tank every night. I am probably more clean than everyone else." But he followed Gabe as they padded toward the shower, Eric following closely. He waited until Eric had turned the complicated dials, and he hissed lightly as the hot water washed over him. Still, the light was dark and that meant that his glow was swirling over his body, flickering under the water, not as full and robust as Gabe had seen on their first meeting, when he was swimming in the dark water, but it was there. He reached out for Gabe, drawing him against him under the water. "You are beautiful." He murmured, dipping his head to press it against the curve of Gabe's neck.
