The conflicted expression on Eric's face didn't bode well, the sight of it causing Gabe to feel inexplicably guilty. He didn't want the merman to push himself to do things he didn't want to, just as he hadn't been urged into the same thing the last time they had met like this. "You don't have to," he said, avoiding Eric's eyes a moment before the merman was kissing him, his hand on Gabe's side causing the human to shiver. He went where Eric led, shuffling closer and letting out a small whimper at the hardness pressing against his thigh.
As much as he wanted to remain that way, Gabe couldn't. Edging out of the kiss, he looked at Eric and sighed to himself, bringing a hand up to run through those dark curls. "We don't have to do anything you don't want to," he said, repeating Eric's own words that had passed between them recently. "We can rest, or sleep, or do whatever. I don't mind, so long as you're happy."
