Gabe remained quiet as Eric looked around his trailer, a small smile on his face as the merman took in the small space. He liked his little slice of home, having been amazed when he had first arrived at how tailored it had been to his personality and his needs. Even now, it was one of his favourite places on the grounds.
A somewhat guilty expression formed on Gabriel's face as Eric brushed his fingers down his side. If things progressed the way he suspected they would, Eric would be seeing his chest and arms for himself, and there was no point in trying to lie if the evidence was literally visible on his body. "Maybe a few more than a few," he said quietly, avoiding the merman's eyes with a shrug. There was nothing that could be done now. "Mostly my body just aches. But it's okay, I'm used to it. Nothing to worry about." He had felt similarly a few short days ago, when he had been overwhelmed by the spirits created from the Hunt. This time, it wasn't nearly as bad. Luckily.
With a weak smile, Gabe leaned in and placed a light kiss to the corner of Eric's mouth before the other man led him over to the couch. Settling down beside him, the blond made a small sound of agreement as he leaned against Eric's body. Rest sounded good, though that wasn't exactly what he had in mind. "We'll see what happens," he said, a playful smile toying on his lips as he rested an arm across the merman's shoulder and leaned further into his embrace. "You'll just have to be extra gentle with me."
