Rose said 'it won't hurt' and that was all Mona needed to hear. She nodded heavily and while there was a little prick when the needle went it, she wouldn't really call it pain. "Thank you," she murmured when Rose started doing... whatever magical thing she was doing. She felt heavy and strange and then, suddenly, so much better.
Well, better but exhausted. She felt like someone had just made her the best hearty soup in the world and it wasn't the healing soup's fault that she'd barely slept. "'s good," Mona said, closing her eyes again and letting the bed just keep hold of her. "Sleep now?" she asked Rose, but already knew she was going to do that anyway whatever the doctor said. She no longer felt like her skin was on fire, and she could breathe again.
