These antique cuff links are left in a small ring box, wrapped with a bow and fastened around Oliver's front door knob. A note accompanies them.
These were made in St. Petersburg in 1910, commissioned by a wealthy gentleman to be worn the night he proposed to his lady. The proposal was beautiful; she wept before she said yes, and they danced for hours together afterward. Later, he wore these to his wedding. They were passed down by the family three times before the history was forgotten and they were sold. I hope they bring you as much luck as they brought the first gentleman!
