[Dressed in Conor's oversized clothes. Niamh sits crossed legged on his bed. She has decided that it's time to be brave. Tomorrow she is going to show herself to Zanna. Tomorrow she will explain and she will be herself in front of both of them. Maybe she'll even tell them her name? (Or is it still to scary to be Niamh instead of Oighear?) Tomorrow she will try and be a girl again. And then, after that, she'll try it in front of others. She has, after all, promised the cirque that she will work for them.
But tonight Niamh makes an new email account and spends the evening - door locked - writing and rewriting the message, getting angrier and angrier.]TO: cardenas.michael@gmail.com

SUBJECT: you should have killed me when you had the chance
You filthy disgusting worthless piece of shit. Are you out there looking for me? Am I the first girl you've taken who's gotten away? I hope you know that I'm coming for you. I'm going to destroy you and absolutely everything that you care about if you even care about anything. Money must be pretty much all you care about so maybe that's what I'll take. I'll leave you with nothing. I haven't told the police, don't worry. I'm going to do this myself. You don't deserve to be in jail. You deserve worse.
I'm close by and I'm watching and you tricked the wrong girl. You don't know what I am and that was your first mistake.
My first mistake was falling for your act of kindness and love.
Do you remember that night we went on the holiday barge? Sleeping in each other's arms while the storm happened outside. Were you really scared of the thunder or was that just another quirk thrown in from some list you keep?
I'm the thunder now, and you should be scared.
I'm going to get you, Michael. For what you and your friends did to me and for what you've done to other girls, I'm going to make you pay for it like none of them could. Keep your eyes open because one day soon I'm going to scratch them out.
I'm not hiding and I'm closer than you think.
Niamh
