Get Ready...
Chromatic Vision will be hosting a two week drabblethon from October 1st to October 14th. This event, like our previous events, is for all fandoms and all ratings, and RPS is more than welcomed. We want to see not only written drabbles, but drawbles and iconbles (2-4 icons of the same image with different textures/texts/colors/etc) as well.
But wait, there's more. At the end of the two weeks, points will be tallied for every drabble and prizes will be handed out.
1st Prize - $25
2nd Prize - $15
3rd Prize - $10
2 Randomized Winners - $5
Prizes are in the form of e-gift cards to Amazon.com or another e-suitable vendor.
Mods are removed from winning prizes.
Rules and Guidelines
Each drabble must be character of color -centric, whether as a solo character or in a pairing.
The fest is not just for writers alone. Drawbles (it's up to the fanartist's discretion what they consider a drawble) and iconbles (2-4 icons of the same image with different textures/texts/colors/etc). Drabbles must be 100 words or in sets of 100 words (100x4, 100x2).
Prompts can be taken as literal or not, in combination with other prompts of the day or not. It's up to you how to interpret them.
Both the IJ and DW versions of chromaticvision will be hosting prompts. Drabbles can be posted in its entirety in the comments of that day's prompts or linked elsewhere (on LJ, personal website, AO3, etc) with header information listed.
Anonymous posting is allowed, however they will not be eligible for prizes except for a participation banner.
Point Scoring
10 points - Participant's 1st drabble for a prompt completed the same day as prompt post
5 points - Participant's 1st drabble for a prompt for Day X completed on a different day
1 point - Additional drabbles completed for the same day's prompt(s). 1 point per additional drabble. Also, if you write a set of drabbles for a prompt, only the first drabble will be worth 10 points. The following drabbles will be 1 point each.
