"Good morning," Yazoo decided to say, wanting to cuff Kadaj for a second since Kadaj was supposed to be the smartest, the most tactical of them but he had to learn about using manners sometimes.
"Our third day too," Loz, the largest of them, added as he nodded at these strangers. He looked the most curiously at the woman.
Kadaj focused his attention on the man who had been here the longest. He sized him up as definitely being military, a fact which both interested and repelled him. Through Sephiroth's military experience, he related but his own personality balked at this one assuming he could order Kadaj and his brothers around.
"If there's a way home, we didn't find it yet," he said to Sheppard, nodding. He assessed all the strangers with a quick look. "Perhaps splitting up to explore would work the best and we can meet after to compare notes. You and me." He indicated Sheppard. "Loz and the lady, Yazoo and the other male, to make sure you have someone with you who's more familiar with the terrain," he explained. The woman had only explored at night and they hadn't seen this other man when they went through the forest, so he must not have looked around.
Kadaj knew his brothers wouldn't bother arguing so he gazed steadily at John to see if the man agreed. Extending his gloved hand he said: "My name's Kadaj. What's your rank?"
