Kara finished lacing up her boots, "You don't get it, Lee. I don't care what these powerful beings want us to do. This isn't our war. We have our own to get back to, remember? The Cylons? I'm not gonna fight here and just hope we make it back. I'm finding my own frakking way back and you're either with me or you're not."
That being said, Kara followed Lee into a building where they got breakfast. She hadn't realized how hungry she was (and how sick of algae she was) until she had scarfed down five protein bars and a piece of fruit she didn't know the name of. Still, in between chews (okay, during), she managed to compare notes and maps with Lee.
As they left the building, they ran into a man that Lee introduced as Lt. Colonel John Sheppard, a fellow pilot. She responded to his greeting by nodding her head and saying, "Lieutenant Colonel. How long have you been here?"
