"Probably not", Jacob said. "Don't start listening to her now", he then added. He loved Bella the way she always had been. She had changed enough now and he'd rather have her dressed in a familiar way at least. "But I guess you won't have to as Alice isn't here. At least not yet." There was always the possibility that she came here. Part of him almost hoped she'd show up. Her ability to see the future might be useful in the war.
Jacob glanced at Bella and shrugged. "It's not that bad", he lied, trying to make her feel better. He just couldn't help it.
He then laughed. "Yeah, that was inevitable", he agreed. He remembered well how often she had just fallen and hurt herself. That was over now however. And at least for that part he was thankful.
Jacob nodded. It was a little creepy, but he was used to others knowing about him. The other werewolves practically knew his every thought. "I'm sure we'll be fine. Noone I met here seemed to know anything about me. I don't think our secrets are being given away."
"I'll do my best", he said with a grin. Right now he didn't feel the urge to kiss her anymore. It might have to do with the bad smell. It was a good thing, too. Even if Edward wasn't here, Bella was still married to him.
"We're here", he then announced and handed her her key so she could go into her room.
"I can wait in my room until you're done and then show you around, if you want to", he offered.
