Jacob frowned at that. Everyone still seemed to be concerned about the little bloodsucking monster. It looked like Bella had managed to convince them all by now. Part of him still wanted to get his hands on the monster when he remembered how Bella looked right before she changed. But he knew it would only hurt Bella, so he kept the thoughts to himself and decided not to do anything stupid once they got back. He'd access the situation first.
"Sorry", he then mumbled. He knew she loved her baby even when it was killing her, so she surely wanted to see it now. He wasn't sorry that she couldn't see it, but he felt sorry for her that she wanted to but couldn't.
"I bet she would. But at least you made good use of the outfit. I heard the Cullens aren't allowed to wear anything twice. So that outfit fullfilled it's purpose completely." He laughed slightly.
He then glanced at her. "Well, the eyes are the worst, but you won't be able to change that, will you?", he asked. He already missed her big brown eyes.
"We all get rooms here. I'm sure you got one, too."
He then shrugged at her words. "I'm still not. Don't get me wrong. Vampires are still my least favorite creatures." He glanced at her apologetically. "But we're waiting for a war to begin. And knowing you you'd probably have managed to get yourself killed first", he said. "Now that'll at least be a lot more difficult. And I promise I won't tell anyone how to kill you." He grinned. If everyone else was from other worlds they might not know how to kill a vampire like Bella. She could be safe.
They then entered the lobby and Jacob led her over to the reception desk. Once there he took the book and glanced at it.
"Looks like your room is right next to mine", he said grinning. "I hope the ventilation is good", he then added with a laugh.
