“The eyes.” Bella guessed with a smirk, they weren’t exactly the most settling thing for her too look at either. She was told they would fade in time and she understood they would never be the colour they were before but still, the red was just strange to look at. “I know, they really are something.”
Now that would make life back home much simpler, it would be safe for Renesmee and the rest of the family. But what if good lost, what happened then? “It would be a very good thing,” Bella agreed. “If we win.” She added hesitantly, positive attitude had never been something she was particularly good at and adding confusion made it worse.
Bella looked down at said clothing and grimaced, it wasn’t just the state but lack of dress left that bothered her most. It hadn’t exactly been the first thing she thought of worrying about upon arriving but she was damned sure Alice would have a fit if she saw the state of her now. Her eyes flickered back up at the mention of blood and she nodded, “first hunt. I got a bit..carried away.” Bella swiftly wanted to move on from that topic, the all too familiar burning in her throat flared up with the thought. “And hey, there’s nothing wrong with the dress. It wasn’t exactly like this when Alice made me wear it but I think it’s a better look now,” she managed a small grin, mocking fashion was always amusing, “the blood and shredded material gives it character.”
