Jennifer found herself softly giggling. It was strange to be in this sort of situation with John. Usually, the only time she really saw him was during staff meetings, or when she had to patch him up. It was nice to see him under different circumstances.
As he pulled out his own lotion, Jennifer stood from her towel, and went toward the water. She gingerly stuck her foot in, smiling when she felt how nice it felt. "The water's perfect," she said over her shoulder before she waded further out.
When the water was above her knees, Jennifer dove into a small wave rolling her way. She swam underwater for a few seconds before popping back up. She smoothed her hair back, and grinned. "How come we never swim in the ocean surrounding the city? This is really nice," she said to John.
